    Usage of spinach for regeneration and detoxification of organism

    What is Detoxification?
    It’s the metabolic process by which toxins are changed into less toxic or more readily extractable substances. Detoxification is one of the more widely used treatments and concepts in alternative medicine and its methods of healing have been used for thousands of years. Many enzymes are involved in this process and there are two ways of achieving detoxification.
    Firstly, transport of the toxin-complex formed to by the liver or kidneys, dissolution, and its secretion through defection or through the urinary system, out of the body. The body removes toxins through sweating and exhalation.
    The other way is the synthesis of a new molecule and attaching it to the toxic molecule, so that together they form a larger molecule than the initial toxin.
    In Phase 1, new molecules created that are able to connect to the toxins that need to be neutralized, and make them comfortable to transport. Enzymatic system, cares for the creation of materials, called cytochrome P 450.
    In Phase 2, additional molecules are formed that drive the toxins, far from the body, and actually carry out that process of detoxification; A carrier molecule neutralizes the poison, and makes it soluble in the blood.
    The main carrier’s molecules, participating in the process of detoxification, are molecules with iron compunds.
    Spinach, along with other green leafy vegetables is rich in iron.
    It contains iron absorption-inhibiting substances, including high levels of oxalate, which can bind to the iron to form ferrous oxalate and render much of the iron in spinach unusable by the body. Spinach is a low calorie food and has chlorophyll which aids in cleansing the colon.
    Spinach also contains calcium, which can be affected by oxalates, decreasing its absorption.
    An example of a chemical process of detoxification:
    Breaking down the protein we eat, is done in the digestive tract, and amino acids are created shipped through the blood to cells, and play a role there. After using them creates ammonia – which is toxic and should not enters the blood.

Spinach contains lutein, which may protect eye health. Studies suggest that eating spinach may help reduce the effects of age-related decline in brain function. Over all, it is not fully proven that spinach helps with detoxification and regeneration, but the substances in spinach strongly suggest such an effect. However, other methods of regeneration and detoxification should not be neglected, when consuming spinach.
